Why choose Dunster House sheds over our competitors?

Finli Shed – Just one of many high quality sheds we make!

Choosing the right shed is a big decision. You could go and get one for next to nothing that sits at the bottom of your lawn. It won’t have shelves, storage and is an eyesore against your garden. If you choose the right shed however, this can act as a greenhouse, storage cupboard or anything you want it to be. Why not all three? Dunster House provide all the types of garden shed that you can imagine- we even combined them!

Extra Storage

Sheds provide a great addition to any home. They act as an extra storage space to house anything you need. For example conventionally tools, furniture and gardening equipment. Creating a workshop where you can build, modify, plant or just relax can help you finish all the DIY you always wanted to – and with our low pitched roof being less than 2.5m high, you don’t need planning permission.  Bonus!

Our sheds come in various shapes and sizes; our smallest shed, conveniently called the Mini Storage Shed, is just 1.2m by 0.6m for those with a garden that would be overshadowed by our Yarrowby that stands at 3.0m by 5.4m. With plenty of shapes and sizes in-between the two extremes. We guarantee you will find the one you are looking for.

So why come to Dunster House for your shed when there are others than can provide you with similar for less? Well that’s just it – they are similar – but will not reach the high standards we set ourselves for you. As our in house designers are responsible for all the features in every Dunster House product, you won’t find them anywhere else. Our shed windows are made from reinforced double glazed glass. Instead of the Perspex many our competitors use. Our windows are tougher to scratch and damage. This is because we internally bead them to prevent them being removed from the outside. Therefore you have the added knowledge that your products are safe.

Our Timbers

Our timber is of the highest quality, something that is maintained throughout production , and through to delivery. The wood is cut to size for your product and then pressure treated. This pressure treatment involves the timber being placed into a chamber filled with preservative and a high pressure being applied. This forces the preservative deep into the timber meaning its life will be extended and the timber will be protected from rot and insect infestation. This process means that you do not have to retreat this yearly to ensure you are protected- we are so confident on this that we give you a 10 year guarantee on all pressed timber products.

Our timber has a deep tongue and groove embedded in the wood. This helps the wood easily lock together and ensure that there are no gaps. To make it even easier, our panels are half height rather than divided along the width. Ensuring you get no cladding when you assemble the product together. We offer the option of installing the shed for you so you don’t have to worry about this going together. All we ask for is a cup of tea (if you’re offering).

If you are not sure on what you want and want to discuss it with someone then our sales team will be happy to discuss this further with you. Or, if you want to see one before you buy it, come to any of our four branches and take a look around – we are happy to help.
