We love receiving your reviews and we honestly can not get enough of you telling us how great our product is. However, when you send us something that we can really sink our teeth into, it is brilliant. In the latest of our customer reviews, sent in by Richard Odlin, we get a true break down of the new PremiumPlus Lantera Grande Sunlight.
PremiumPlus Lantera Grande Sunlight W7.5m x D3.5m Arrived lunch time on the pre arranged date. Followed the lorry locator on your web site, which is really cool, so you know to the ten minutes where it is. Driver very helpful. Hope he’s got his new lorry and, more importantly, new folk lift, as it was definitely on it’s last legs. Would hate to think how we would have unloaded everything if it had threw it’s hand in!!
Base – I purchased the rapid grid system. The base area is quite large and clicking these things together was quite difficult. I also managed to crack a few in the process. It was quite cold when I put them together and maybe that compounded the problem. It then took two and a quarter bulk bags of pea gravel to finish the job. I now have arms like Popeye!!
Cabin Instructions way to fragmented. When parting with in excess of £5500, I would expect instructions specific to the cabin in question. Instead you get several sets of generic instructions, 50% or more, of which, are totally irrelevant. Warped logs. While I understand it’s wood, I was surprised by the number of warped logs. This meant I spent a lot of time drilling and screwing to get the logs to fit. Bl**dy great long screws at that. However, I managed to get all logs to fit with no unwanted gaps.
The partition wall and door is a bonus as it gives us somewhere for a chest freezer and some additional storage space. Apex Pre-constructed and screwed apexes are all well and good until you find you have to take them apart by unscrewing them from underneath, and then separating the apex logs to enable front and rear logs to be inserted, then replacing the apex logs and re-screwing from underneath. A real chew on.
Overall, very pleased with the end result. Managed to construct it by myself, but I’m sure it would have gone up quicker with help. The weather didn’t help either as we had quite a lot of rain, and I’m a fair weather DIY’er. Pictures show a work in progress as there is still a sauna to install, and outside needs landscaping.
