You may know that, alongside the Dunster House Facebook page, we also have a Rabbitopia Facebook page. As the name suggests, this page is where you go for all things rabbit and is run by the assistant of designer Alexander Murphy. Sara came into the office today and told me that we had a fan of the Rabbitopia who had posted some fantastic images to her instagram page. She had been in contact with Sara and said she was more than happy for us to share her images across social media so that’s exactly what we did.
Now, she didn’t email me to be part of the customer reviews section like you normal but, as she has granted us full access to her instagram.
I thought I would show you some of the amazing text she put with her posts:
This is Thumper and Baloo’s Palace. Including weekly access to the garden this is their home. I love this hutch – it is very secure so no predators can get in. Rabbitopia also includes a tower fitted with ‘levels’ so the rabbits can use their natural jumping ability. And at the very top is their ‘bedroom’ a safe and dark environment for the bunnies to sleep and hide. Our garden is also full of grass and bushes which the rabbits love. Although this hutch is their ‘main home’ we have built a gate and blocked off smaller escapes throughout the garden to give the bunnies a more natural environment – then they go back inside their hutch for dinner and bedtime.
This is our rabbit hutch: we bought it from an English company called Rabbitopia by Dunster House. It is very important that your rabbits have a large secure area so I would strongly recommend this company – small hutches that are commonly sold are not suited for a rabbit. I believe that if you can’t fit in your rabbit hutch then neither should your rabbit. Thank you for reading and following, as you can tell the hutches door is open and this is because we rabbit proofed our garden so the rabbits can get even more space. This lifestyle will secure that your rabbit is healthy and happy.
