Trying to decide what Garden Structure to add to your garden can be frustrating. You want something larger than a gazebo, big enough to shelter all of the garden furniture or play equipment, but you don’t want an enclosed Garden Building like a Log Cabin or Summerhouse. Our design team has created a brand new product that gives you sunlight and shade, exposure and privacy all in one structure.
Chunky Corner Gazebos
Introducing our brand new Chunky Corner Gazebos. Our range of Chunky Corner Gazebos consist of four different sizes; Centaur (W3.2m x D3.2m), Phoenix (W6.0m x D3.0m), Unicorn (W4.2m x D3.2m) and Pegasus (W5.0m x D3.0m). So you will easily be able to find one that will suit your budget, preference, style and shape of your garden.
Your eyes are instantly drawn to the substantial uprights. Due to the curved support struts, it gives the illusion of decorative arches. Similar to those you’d find in churches and other grand buildings. Not simply for aesthetic pleasure, the 145mm x 145mm timber uprights and thick struts combine to create a structure that can easily withstand the tempestuous weather that commonly occurs in a British ‘summer’. This unique design gives you large (2.12m) open space in each arch. All of these, with the exception of the entrance point, have decorative balustrades that are strong enough for you to wrap fairy lights around or hang rectangular flowerbeds over for added decoration.
Slow-Grown Spruce Panels
The enclosed back corner of the gazebo give you some protection from the elements. We are using 15mm slow grown Spruce panels which are attached to a 70mm x 70mm frame. These panels consist of tongue and groove timber which snugly fit together to keep the wind and rain out whilst you are relaxing. This design makes the gazebo ideal for placing in the corner of the garden. It prevents your guests from having a view of a boring fence, wall or garden border but rather the gorgeous garden you’ve created.
Not to let down the structure, the roof consists of 19mm thick panels which we deliver to you pre -assembled. So this makes it easier for you to attach them during construction.
Large Open Space
As high as it is wide and deep. The inside of the Chunky Corner Gazebo has a walkthrough height of six foot (1840mm). So you won’t need to worry about your guests bumping their heads or having to slouch whilst moving around. With the simple addition of a large garden table and chairs you can not only extend your living space but create a stylish al fresco dining area that will impress your guests all year round. To help you further customise your gazebo we offer you a multitude of roofing options to choose from. You can choose between roof felt, super felt, shingles (available in Green and Black) and hexagonal shingles (available in Black).
Strong and long lasting
For something extra special, you can opt to add a Thatched Roof. Made with genuine African Cape Reed, rather than cheaper synthetic materials like many competitors use. The roof really helps to give your gazebo an exotic feel. If you choose to install the gazebo yourself, it’s worth noting that the thatch is delivered to you in a mix of heavy duty and standard tiles. These are easily installed with clips that attach to a hot dipped galvanised steel roof frame. By using hot dipped steel, rather than plain steel, the framework has approximately 10 times more zinc being bonded with the steel resulting in a frame that’s resistant to corrosion. We are so sure we give you a 10 year Guarantee against structural and rust failure.
Pressure Treated Timber
All of the timber used in the Chunky Corner Gazebo range is fully pressure treated. This process forces the non toxic, copper chrome, arsenic free treatment deep within the timber. Also protects it against rot and fungal decay. This eliminates the need to annually retreat the gazebo. Once the gazebo is ready, it will retain its quality and strength for at least 10 years. We’re so sure of this that we guarantee it.
