Our newest Thatched Gazebo combines beauty and brawn!

Thatched Gazebo Dunster House

Our in house designers love designing Garden Buildings. They spend hours coming up with new innovative designs that add a little something extra to your garden. Our new Gazebo combines the beauty that comes from the real African Thatch and the sturdy, strong square posts of the Atlas Gazebo. Thus it creates a range of Square post Thatched Gazebo.

I have a tendency to daydream at work (sorry boss). I’m thinking of the various ways I would personally decorate or ‘jazz up’ any of our new releases.  I find Gazebos easy and the African Thatched Gazebos are the easiest, as they speak for themselves.

The exterior of Thatched Roof is idyllic in itself thanks to the use of real African Thatch. The easy-to-attach thatch panels which connect to the framework and makes for a seamless finish.  Clipped onto the long lasting hot dipped galvanised framework makes your Gazebo long-lasting. It’s also perfect for hanging fairy lights that can blanket the top. They will create a soft, warm atmosphere in the evening. For an even prettier finish, you can opt for the cream coloured canopy liner which is available as either an optional extra or included in the fully loaded package.

Features

The cream canopy liner is attached with metal buckles and offers added protection from the elements during the colder months. A fantastic addition to your Gazebo, and something that’ll make sure the party continues well into the night, is the 3 sided 1.8kw heater with downlight[i]. The downlight, and red glow of the heater, creates a warm and cosy atmosphere when the sun goes down– great for keeping your guests comfortable when the party continues late into the night.

So you’ve given your guests a good view when looking up, and your garden provides the picturesque backdrop, but what about the surrounding uprights? Luckily for you the pressure treatment gives the uprights an attractive finish which will blend in with any back drop, whether grass, brick, timber or concrete. The thick 145mm timber uprights are sturdy enough for you to hang decorations making the customisation options limitless – hanging baskets, candle jars, lights, pom-poms and a whole host of different decorations. There are a variety of DIY decoration ideas in this blog to create a Gazebo that lets your personality shine through, my favourite are the hand and footprint decorations made from quick setting concrete, as they are the ultimate personal touch to your Gazebo. Alternatively, you could leave the square bollards bare and let their quality talk for itself.

Customise Your Gazebo

The Gazebo is as customiseable as the decoration options themselves which is why the Thatched Gazebo, along with the majority of our Garden Buildings, has a large variety of options for you to easily create a Gazebo that caters to your every need. Maybe you’ll decide to have the Gazebo as a standalone structure, offering much needed shelter to your garden furniture when the rain starts to fall or, maybe, you’d prefer a more enclosed feel, you can opt for the decked option which gives you both a sturdy decked base that’ll easily support a party of 10 in addition to decorative balustrades that not only allow people to lean when standing but are thick enough to easily hang rectangular flower baskets on that you can fill with all your favourite flowers for a Gazebo that smells as good as it looks.

Fully Loaded

For the ultimate in luxury which, let’s be honest, you deserve there is the Fully Loaded option. This option gives you everything you need to be the host, or hostess, with the mostest. Whether you are using the Thatched Gazebo as a place to sit with your family or as a great venue for garden parties .  Complete with benches, decking and balustrades along with decorative cushions, curtains and canopy. The Thatched Gazebo gives you all the optional extras needed to create a Gazebo that combines exposure and privacy in equal measure.

Why not invite friends and family round for a garden party? During the day, you can sit and enjoy the breeze. When the night time chill sets in, you can roll down the curtains for protection against the elements.

Whether you use your Gazebo as a place to escape the madness of daily life. Thus have a few minutes of quiet. Or you want a place to have a much needed catch up with your friends and family on the weekend. Our range of Thatched Gazebos will add character to your garden.
