Blink and you’ve probably missed it. In all the excitement of our new website launching, we forgot to write about another product that we recently launched. We have a standard Log Cabin range but they are far different to their namesake!
The standard range offers you an affordable solution to meet the ever-growing need for living space. The gorgeous French doors allow sun to stream in. Only adding to the light and airy feel of the Log Cabin. Sit back and relax in your own private retreat at the end of the garden. Free from the distractions of daily life.
Standard Log Cabin Features
As with all of our Log Cabins, our standard range is made of slow grown spruce. So, it is less like to shrink, warp or split as it is less porous than Pine. We know that all timber naturally expands and contracts. Thus, the individual timber boards have 11mm thick tongue and groove boards which allows for the expansion and contraction. Without risking the boards becoming dislodged. This will help prevent unsightly gaps appearing in the Log Cabin throughout the year.
As with most of our Garden Buildings, the Log Cabin accommodates any personal preference you may have. A major detail is the ability to place the door either on the left or right of the front elevation. As our Log Cabin comes in kit formation, all this takes is a quick reversal of the position of the front logs when you build it, all of which is explained within the instructions.
Another customisation you can opt for is whether you have Georgian bars on your window. These bars, which emulate the elegance of French design, are sculpted to the window so that they sit flush rather than simply float in front of them like some cabins that are available on the market. Make your garden building suit your taste.
Our standard cabins may be cheaper but are by no means a less high quality cabin, containing some of the same features as our Premium Log Cabins such as 4mm toughened glass, gate hinges, pressure treated bearers and adjustable storm braces. This is a cost effective option for those that want a stylish, compact Garden Building that is perfect for your hobbies, crafting, working or simply a retreat.
